Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. Images are decoded, resized and re-encoded locally in your browser. Closing the tab discards them.

Is there a file size limit?

There is no limit set by this site. The practical limit is your device's memory: very large photos or many files at once can be slow on older phones, so process big batches in smaller groups.
